Principal's Message

Dear parents. My name is Salvador Martin and I am the Principal of Moffett Elementary. What an exciting time of the year! Welcome back Mountain Lion scholars for the 2024-35 school year.

Moffett Elementary continues to provide diverse and exciting learning opportunities to our students.  Above and beyond the classroom our students are curious, creative, resilient, and happy.  We provide the following programs:

The Leader In Me, Dual Language bilingual/biliteracy instruction, AVID, Engineering, and our outstanding Standard English Instruction.

This year we are excited to continue our upward trajectory and open our new Media Lab that will give our students an additional learning experience.  Students will be able to create videos, podcasts, and vlogs.  This new educational space, in addition our library and engineering lab, provides our scholars 21st Century tools to express themselves and extend their learning.

I believe that education is transformative. With the work of our amazing teachers and staff, we will strive tirelessly to provide the best experience for your children.
